Casa Weidner Hotel Sibiu operates in a building that is part of the city’s historical and architectural heritage, dating back to 1582. The building has a remarkable history rooted in the 15th century: the right side originally belonged to the Weidner family, later to senator Johann Reussner Jr., while the left side was owned by the Czekelius family for nearly 400 years. Both wings were unified at the end of the 19th century, when they were purchased by merchant J. B. Misselbacher.
Authentic architectural elements, such as wooden beams representative of Transylvania, arcades, or baroque stucco ceilings, contribute to the historic charm of the building, complemented by modern amenities. The rooms offer contemporary comfort in a historic setting, most of them overlooking the bohemian rooftops of Sibiu or the Great Square. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and Prija cosmetics, slippers, cable TV, fridge, and coffee & tea making facilities.
